Tyres and wheel alignment in Salmabad

The workshop is in Salmabad itself, on Avenue 8, inside the industrial and commercial area that sits a short distance west of Shaikh Salman Highway. Everything is done at this one address: tyres and fitting, Hunter 3D wheel alignment, wheel balancing, suspension and brakes, oil change and lubrication, puncture repair, battery testing and vehicle inspection. Booking is by WhatsApp on +973 3822 4822.

Getting to the workshop

There is one workshop, and it is here: Avenue 8, Salmabad. Shaikh Salman Highway runs north to south a little over half a kilometre to the east of it, and that is the road that links Salmabad and Isa Town to Manama.

The Isa Town Gate interchange sits on that highway just to the south, and the Salmabad exits lead west into the industrial blocks. The internal roads here are numbered rather than named, so the simplest thing is to send a WhatsApp message and we will reply with the map location.

Hours are 07:00 to 22:00 from Saturday through to Thursday, and 16:00 to 20:00 on Friday.

What Salmabad driving does to tyres

Salmabad has been developed as an industrial area and is full of factories, warehouses and workshops, so the roads around it carry loaded pickups, flatbeds and vans all day. Yard entrances, kerbed corners and broken asphalt edges are where tyres get hurt here. A sidewall scuffed against a kerb while reversing a loaded vehicle, or a wheel dropped hard into a dip, can move wheel angles out of specification and leave damage that the outside of the tyre does not show.

Industrial and construction traffic also drops things. Nails, screws, offcuts of wire and fragments of sheet metal end up on service roads and in yards, which is why a slow leak is such a common complaint from drivers based here. A tyre that needs air every week or two has a reason, and it is worth finding that reason before the tyre spends a hot afternoon running soft.

Shaikh Salman Highway alongside Salmabad is frequently congested, and a redevelopment of it was announced in 2024. Long spells of stop-start crawling and idling are hard on brakes and on batteries, both of which already have a shorter life in this climate than in a cooler one, so both are worth checking before the summer rather than after it.

Questions, answered.

Where in Salmabad is the workshop?

On Avenue 8, in the Salmabad industrial and commercial area, a short distance west of Shaikh Salman Highway. The internal roads here are numbered, so send a WhatsApp message on +973 3822 4822 and we will reply with the map location.

Is there more than one branch?

No. There is one workshop and it is in Salmabad. The pages on this site for other towns are written for drivers coming from those towns to Salmabad, not for separate branches.

My van picks up a slow puncture every few weeks working around Salmabad. What can be done?

Bring it in and the tyre comes off the rim so the inside can be inspected. Industrial debris often leaves a small object still embedded, or a cut that has worked its way through the inner liner, and a leak can also come from the valve or a corroded rim seat rather than from the tread at all. What we find decides whether a repair is permissible or the tyre needs replacing.

What are the opening hours?

07:00 to 22:00 from Saturday through to Thursday, and 16:00 to 20:00 on Friday. Booking is by WhatsApp on +973 3822 4822.
